A classmate and I created a large and magnificent board game in our final year of SCAD. It was based off of the popular manga series Death Note. There were two "tea parties" on the board, spaces where your character could be safe from getting killed. The co-creator of the game did two illustrations for these spaces, and I have updated the board with my own versions. That's what these are. The English setting was referenced from an image found online, as well as all the vases of flowers. The two kanji characters on the white vases in the Japanese tea party say "shi" ("death") and "kami" ("god"). These are small watercolor paintings, 4"x6". |
