TITLE: Ching Shih, Pirate Queen     MEDIUM: Pencil, Watercolor

This is my interpretation of an actual Pirate Queen from history, a Chinese woman named Ching Shih.  She was quite awesome, and I recommend you look her up sometime.  At the height of her career, she commanded thousands of men and hundreds of pirate vessels, and she even imposed taxes on parts of China's coastline.
