Hello! My name is Megan Gullotto, but please call me Meg. I am a 24-year-old native of Jacksonville, FL. I graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (high school) in 2004 and The Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008, with a Bachelor's degree in Sequential Art (the art of comics and graphic novels) and a minor in Illustration.
Since graduating college, I attempted to pursue a career as a comic artist, but while sequential art will always be my one true love, I have decided instead to return to grad school to become a medical illustrator. I have always done well with detailed, highly realistic work, and while I love to create characters and worlds and stories for fun, medical illustration has resolved itself into the best fit for me at this point. So that's the plan. Updated 3/24/10: I have been accepted to the graduate program at the Medical College of Georgia, and I will be attending in the fall! I'll be finishing my local college courses this spring, pre- requisites for MCG, and while still here in town, I am available for commissions, as stated on the main page. My summer is quite open! Any type of work you find in my galleries is the kind of work I can do for you. See my CONTACT section to get in touch! I'd love to hear from you! | | |
